Why don't have fish balls?

After vegetarian festival that my parents join with, my mother wanted to eat meat so much so after last day of the festival my mother made noodle for lunch. She went to grocery near my home for bought food to made noodle. My mother asked the shopkeeper for fish balls. She replied to my mother that she didn't sell it anymore.

"Why?", my mother asked. The shopkeeper answered that if she told story about the fish balls my mother will scared.

"I want to be scared" my mother said so she told the story about the customer that bought fish balls from her.

That customer bought fish balls for made Suki (สุกี้) but the day that she cooked it her house was lost of power but ... there was light.

Where the light came from? The light came from ... fish balls!!!

Yes, the light came from fish balls. Fluorescent fish balls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The customer told this story to the shopkeeper. But the shopkeeper didn't believe her suddenly. So the shopkeeper made experiment by herself and she found that the fish balls were fluorescent!!!

After that, the shopkeeper stopped to sell fish balls anymore.
